“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16

Friends, as of this writing it is Monday morning. Most of you, I’m sure, were in church yesterday and heard the preaching of the Word. You assembled together with friends and loved ones and had a time worshipping the Lord. You may have gone out to eat with your friends afterward and had a good time fellowshipping…then comes Monday morning.

We must get to the place in our walk with God that we are not living for meetings on the weekends to help us through the week. Your time with God can be just as rich (or many times better) on Monday morning as it was in the church service you were in the day before.

There is a sense of reality hitting us square in the face as we wake up Monday morning facing another week—I get that. But as the verse above says, we don’t lose heart, our inner man today is refreshed, excited, full of fire and joy to face another day. The Holy Spirit does not take the weekdays off and just show up in church on the weekend. If you are born again, He is in you and given you all that you need to live refreshed!

So, no matter what you are facing today, or any other day—no matter what things look like on the outside—just know that your inner man (your spirit man), is being renewed today. Live in that joy. Live in that revelation. Live loved, today and every day!
